Kalanchoe 'Elve's Bells'


 

A compact narrow leafed form of pixie bells. Flowers late winter to spring.Flowers are burgundt with a green throat.Plant grows to 20cm tall and is suited to a patio pot in a sheltered position from frost. Can use as an indoor plant but keep in the light as it will stretch. Prune after flowering to encourage a second late flower.

Uses

Long flowering so brings color to the garden for some months.Hardy plant that has a different look to a succulent but will take the drought like one. Frost tender.

Preferred Position & Soil

treat as a mix between a cottage plant and a succulent. Too moist and will rot. Grows well also in a sandy mix.
