Bougainvillea 'Bambino Jellibene'
Bambino bougainvillea’s are a range of compact bougainvillea’s ideally suited to container growing, topiary, small hedges and small gardens. Bambino are very hardy and will cope with hot, dry conditions exceptionally well once established. They have attractive foliage and it should be noted that they have small spikes located on their stems. Bougainvillea’s flower profusely over a long period in summer. Bambino Jellibene has attractive cream and green variegated foliage with brilliant scarlet bracts and incomplete flowers.
Uses
Their toughness and tolerance of heat makes them ideal for sunny warm spots in the garden or an excellent choice for decorative pots on balconies and terraces. Bambino Bougainvillea can be grown in a variety of ways; they look fantastic as a standard or can be grown as a hedge.
Preferred Position & Soil
Requires a warm sunny position, protected from frost. A tough plant that tolerates hot, dry conditions once established.
