Armeria 'Bee's Ruby'


 

Armeria 'Bee's Ruby' is a very hardy, compact, low growing perennial. It produces a great display of iridescent globe shaped pink flowers on long stems over tufted foliage throughout Spring and Summer.

Uses

Ideal for rockeries, bedding, cottage gardens, boarders and containers. This plant is known as one of the easiest grown perennials. Good for container plantings, the rock garden, border, or as a ground cover.

Preferred Position & Soil

Armeria 'Bee's Ruby' can tolerate drought and salt but prefers moist, well drained soils with a neutral pH. Does not require fertiliser once planted in the ground.

This plant tolerates drought and salt well and will grow in dry soils but prefers soil that is well-drained, loamy, sandy or clay with a neutral pH (7.0). Likes a full sun position.
