Leafless Rock Wattle, Twisted Desert Wattle
A striking upright small to medium shrub with fascinating intricately interlocked bluish-grey spiny branches and stems. Small golden yellow flower-balls are produced in late winter and early spring.
Uses
Makes an attractive plant for hedging and screening.
Preferred Position & Soil
A humus rich soil is recommended although it is a hardy plant that can survive harsher conditions. Plants flower readily in exposed situations, after which a light to heavy prune is recommended to keep any desired shape or height.
